Technical Skill Development & Industry-Academia Collaboration
KGCCI has established Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading technical institutions to drive skill development and technical advancement:

Joint programs for technical upgradation, diploma courses for industrial workers, tool development, and training to convert semi-skilled workers into skilled artisans. Management teams are also introduced to modern technologies through these collaborations.

Collaboration for specialized technical training programs tailored to industry needs.

Power Tariff Advocacy
KGCCI actively represents the industry’s interests before the Electricity Regulatory Commission to prevent excessive increases in power tariffs, ensuring affordable energy for industrial growth.

KGCCI works closely with the Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board to address issues faced by industries, such as effluent treatment, air and water pollution control, and the establishment of common treatment plants for mini-industrial estates.

The Chamber regularly communicates with state authorities to ensure that funds collected for environmental protection are utilized effectively for pollution control and infrastructure development.
