Siemens India and Tata Strive jointly organized an Industry Meet at Hotel Kumaon Plaza, Bazpur Road, Kashipur.
Mr. Nitin Agarwal, Secretary General, KGCCI; Mr. Anoop Kumar Singh, Zonal Chairman, SIDCUL, Pantnagar; Mr. Sanjeev Tomar, HR Subcommittee Chairman; Mr. Dinesh Chandra, Principal Director, Electronic Service and Training Center, Kanya, Ramnagar; and Mr. Mayank Agarwal, Director, Apprentice, Uttarakhand were present on the stage.

On this occasion, Mr. Anup Kumar Singh assured the Chamber of all possible support to provide training facilities to the youth.
Mr. Dinesh Chandra informed in detail about the various training programs being offered to students at ESTC and the various facilities being provided to entrepreneurs.
Shri Saibal Adak, Project Manager, TATA Strive said that Tata Strive and Siemens have collaborated with Directorate of Skill Development & Employment, Uttarakhand Govt. to improve the quality of training in ITI with Dual VET Project.
Dual VET is a German methodology where training is interlocked with theory and workshop, intended to improve the quality of education in ITI and also to provide a sustainable future to the students by making the Industry Ready & Future Ready.

In the Dual VET Project, we send the students for in-plant training in different industries / service centres / facilities in nearby industries, where the students learn very important and valuable lessons. Students go for one month during the first year and for one month in the second year for in-plant training. During in-plant training, students learn about:
- Industry/service centers work culture
- Safety precautions and norms
- Actual working in the industry/service centers
- Learning about different tools, test meters, and equipments
- Necessary documents related to the task
Apart from the in-plant training, we conduct expert sessions for the students as well as their instructors to update their knowledge.

At the end of the Seminar, Secretary General of the Chamber, Mr. Nitin Agarwal, Zonal Chairman, SIDCUL, Pantnagar, Mr. Anup Singh and H R sub-Committee Chairman, Mr. Sanjeev Tomar distributed Tool Kits, Certificates and Mementos on behalf of the Chamber to the outstanding students, Teachers and Guests.
