KGCCI Successfully Organized First Managing Committee Meeting for the Year 2026–27

The First Managing Committee Meeting of the Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KGCCI) for the year 2026-27 was held at the Chamber House, Industrial Estate, Bazpur Road, Kashipur, under the chairmanship of the Newly Elected President Shri Vineet Kumar Sangal, Director, M/s. Siddheshwari Paper Udyog Pvt. Ltd.

The meeting commenced with the Secretary of the Chamber, Shri Ashwani Chhabra, extending a warm welcome to all the members present. The Managing Committee considered and approved the appointment of Co-opted Members to the Managing Committee for the year 2026–27. The Committee also approved the nomination of Zonal Chairmen, Chapters’ Chairmen, and Chairmen of various Sub-Committees for the financial year 2026-27 of KGCCI to further strengthen the Chamber’s organizational structure and enhance regional representation.

The Committee deliberated upon the Budget Proposal and the Action Plan for the year 2026-27, outlining the Chamber’s priorities and initiatives aimed at promoting industrial growth, addressing policy issues, and enhancing member services.
Members also held detailed deliberations on various issues relating to the industrial development of Uttarakhand, with particular emphasis on improving the ease of doing business, strengthening industrial infrastructure, promoting investment, and addressing the challenges faced by industries across the State. The Committee also discussed the need for continuous coordination with the Government and concerned departments to facilitate sustainable industrial growth, enhance the competitiveness of existing industries, and create a more conducive business environment in Uttarakhand.
The Managing Committee further considered applications received for KGCCI Membership and approved eligible applications after due consideration.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the Chamber’s commitment to work closely with the Government and all stakeholders for the overall development of trade, commerce, and industry in Uttarakhand. The proceedings ended with the National Anthem.
