“राष्ट्रीय लघु उद्योग निगम, काशीपुर द्वारा आयोजित रोजगार मेले में 100+ युवाओं का चयन, केजीसीसीआई अध्यक्ष, श्री अशोक बंसल ने बढ़ाया उत्साह”

काशीपुर। आज दिनाँक 17 अप्रैल, 2025 को भारत सरकार के एमएसएमई मन्त्रालय द्वारा संचालित राष्ट्रीय लघु उद्योग निगम, औद्योगिक आस्थान, बाजपुर रोड, काशीपुर (ऊधम सिंह नगर) द्वारा अपने परिसर में बेरोजगार नवयुवक/युवतियों हेतु एक रोजगार मेले का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर कुमायूँ गढ़वाल चैम्बर ऑफ़ काॅमर्स एण्ड इण्डस्ट्री (केजीसीसीआई) के अध्यक्ष, श्री अशोक बंसल मुख्य अतिथि तथा बी. पी. एग्रो कैमिकल्स, काशीपुर के डायरेक्टर, श्री विकास अग्रवाल सम्मानित अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित थे।

इस अवसर पर केजीसीसीआई अध्यक्ष, श्री अशोक बंसल ने रोजगार के लिए चयनित होने वाले विद्यार्थियों को बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि यह आपके अथक परिश्रम, समर्पण और धैर्य का परिणाम है कि आज आपको यह सुनहरा अवसर प्राप्त हुआ है। जिन्हें आज यहाँ नौकरी मिली है, उनके जीवन का यह एक नया अध्याय है। यह शुरुआत है, आगे और भी ऊँचाइयाँ आपका इंतजार कर रही हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जो अभ्यर्थी अभी चयनित नहीं हुए हैं, उनसे मैं यही कहना चाहूँगा कि जीवन में अवसर कभी समाप्त नहीं होते। हर असफलता अपने साथ सीख लेकर आती है और अगला अवसर और बेहतर बनकर सामने आता है। अतः आप अपने प्रयासों को जारी रखें, सफलता अवश्य आपके कदम चूमेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि जो लोग पहली बार अपनी नौकरी की शुरुआत करने जा रहे हैं वे जिस भी कम्पनी में कार्य करें, तो उसे अपनी जिम्मेदारी और परिवार की तरह समझें। जैसे एक माँ अपने बच्चों की देखभाल करती है, वह स्वयं कठिनाई में रहकर भी मुस्कुराते हुए बच्चों का पालन-पोषण करती है, उनकी हर आवश्यकता का ध्यान रखती है, कभी थकती नहीं, कभी शिकायत नहीं करती, वैसे ही आप भी अपने कार्यस्थल को अपनाएँ। जब आप अपने कर्तव्यों को पूरी निष्ठा, ईमानदारी और मुस्कान के साथ निभाएँगे, तो न केवल आपकी प्रगति सुनिश्चित होगी, बल्कि कंपनी की प्रगति में भी आप महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएँगे।

राष्ट्रीय लघु उद्योग निगम, काशीपुर (एनएसआईसी) के केन्द्र प्रभारी, श्री पुनीत कुमार ने कहा कि केजीसीसीआई और एनएसआईसी मिलकर भविष्य में भी रोजगार के अवसर सृजन करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि विद्यार्थियों को रोजगार मिलने के बाद पूरी तन्मयता, निष्ठा और ईमानदारी के साथ काम करना चाहिए ताकि किसी भी कम्पनी में उनकी स्थिति सम्मानजनक हो तथा भविष्य में उन्नति की नींव मजबूत हो। उन्होंने चयनित होने वाले अभ्यर्थियों से कहा कि वे निरन्तर अपने कर्तव्यपथ पर चलते रहें, चुनौतियों से न डरें, और हर दिन कुछ नया सीखते रहें। आपकी मेहनत और लगन ही आपको सफलता के शिखर तक पहुँचाएगी।

बी पी एग्रो कैमिकल्स के डायरेक्टर श्री विकास अग्रवाल ने कहा कि कम्पनियों में रोजगार की कमी नहीं है। उन्होंने आवाहन किया कि उनका प्रयास होना चाहिए कि वे स्वयं के अपने कार्य करें और अपने साथियों को रोजगार देने के योग्य बनें।

रोजगार मेले में एनएसआईसी, काशीपुर, आईटीआई, काशीपुर, एससीएमटी, काशीपुर तथा आईएफटीएम काॅलेज मुरादाबाद इत्यादि के 400 अभ्यर्थियों ने भाग लिया जिनमें से सुबोस प्रा0 लि0, गुरुग्राम, लौहार इन्जीनियरिंग प्रा0 लि0, महुआखेड़ागंज, काशीपुर, सूर्या रोशनी निमिटेड, काशीपुर, काशी विश्वनाथ स्टील्स प्रा0 लि0, काशीपुर द्वारा साक्षत्कार कर 100 से भी अधिक अभ्यर्थियों का चयन अपनी कम्पनियों के लिए किया गया।

इस अवसर पर अभ्यर्थियों के अतिरिक्त श्री भरत मठपाल, श्री गुरविन्दर सिंह, श्री संजय गुप्ता, श्री कुलदीप सिंह, श्री आकाश कुमार, श्री इकबाल अहमद, श्री अनुज नेहरा, श्री शिवम गुप्ता, सीमा सागर इत्यादि उपस्थित थे।

MSMEs के सशक्तिकरण हेतु निर्यात संवर्धन एवं RAMP योजना पर जागरूकता कार्यशाला आयोजित

दिनांक: 15 अप्रैल, 2025

रुद्रपुर (उधम सिंह नगर): जिला उद्योग केंद्र, उधम सिंह नगर द्वारा जिला निर्यात संवर्धन समिति (DEPC) के तत्वावधान में आज दिनांक 15 अप्रैल 2025 को एक कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम “एक्सपोर्ट प्रमोशन एवं MSMEs के लिए RAMP स्कीम” विषय पर केंद्रित था और इसमें क्षेत्र के अनेक उद्यमियों एवं व्यवसायियों ने सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया।

कार्यक्रम का आयोजन डिस्ट्रिक्ट इंडस्ट्रीज सेंटर (DIC), रुद्रपुर के सम्मेलन कक्ष में किया गया। कार्यक्रम में प्रमुख अतिथियों के रूप में श्री दीपक मुरारी, ज्वाइंट डायरेक्टर, इंडस्ट्री, श्री विपिन कम्बोज, जी.एम. DIC रुद्रपुर, एवं किरण गोस्वामी, मैनेजर DIC रुद्रपुर उपस्थित रहे।

चैंबर की ओर से कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत में श्री अशोक बंसल, अध्यक्ष, कुमायूं गढ़वाल चैम्बर ऑफ़ कॉमर्स एण्ड इण्डस्ट्री (KGCCI) ने सभी अतिथियों एवं प्रतिभागियों का हार्दिक स्वागत किया। उन्होंने कहा कि यह कार्यशाला क्षेत्र के MSMEs के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण मंच है, जो उन्हें वैश्विक प्रतिस्पर्धा के लिए तैयार करने और निर्यात में वृद्धि के अवसर प्रदान करता है।

श्री बंसल ने अपने संबोधन में कहा:

“यह कार्यक्रम हमारे उद्योगों को निर्यात के लिए आवश्यक जानकारी, मार्गदर्शन एवं सरकारी योजनाओं के लाभों से परिचित कराता है। ‘एक्सपोर्ट उत्तराखंड पोर्टल’ की विस्तृत जानकारी एवं RAMP स्कीम के तहत बाजार व क्रेडिट की पहुँच, संस्थागत सशक्तिकरण, केंद्र-राज्य समन्वय, और भुगतान में देरी जैसी चुनौतियों पर चर्चा इस कार्यशाला की प्रमुख विशेषताएँ रहीं।”

कार्यक्रम में निम्नलिखित बिंदुओं पर विशेष रूप से चर्चा की गई:

  • एक्सपोर्ट उत्तराखंड पोर्टल की विस्तृत जानकारी व उपयोग की प्रक्रिया

  • MSMEs के लिए निर्यात के नए अवसरों की पहचान

  • RAMP स्कीम के अंतर्गत वित्तीय सहायता, बाजार तक पहुँच, संस्थागत सुधार, तथा पर्यावरणीय चुनौतियों से निपटने के उपाय

कार्यशाला में उपस्थित उद्यमियों ने विशेषज्ञों से अपने प्रश्न पूछे और योजनाओं के क्रियान्वयन की विस्तृत जानकारी प्राप्त की।

कार्यक्रम के अंत में श्री अशोक बंसल ने सभी प्रतिभागियों, अतिथियों एवं आयोजकों का आभार व्यक्त किया और चैंबर की ओर से MSMEs के सतत विकास के लिए हरसंभव सहयोग का आश्वासन दिया।

कुमायूँ गढ़वाल चैम्बर ऑफ कॉमर्स एण्ड इण्डस्ट्री द्वारा वर्ष 2024-25 की दसवीं मैनेजिंग कमेटी की मीटिंग का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन

कुमायूँ गढ़वाल चैम्बर ऑफ कॉमर्स एण्ड इण्डस्ट्री की दसवीं मैनेजिंग कमेटी की बैठक 2 अप्रैल, 2025 को अपराह्न 3:30 बजे होटल रुद्रा कॉन्टिनेंटल, काशीपुर बाईपास रोड, रुद्रपुर (ऊधम सिंह नगर), उत्तराखंड में सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित की गई। बैठक का संचालन चैम्बर के महासचिव, श्री आर के गुप्ता द्वारा किया गया।

बैठक में उपस्थित सदस्यों द्वारा शासन में नवनियुक्त मुख्य सचिव, श्री आनन्द बर्धन को बधाई दी गयी तथा हर्ष व्यक्त किया गया कि श्री आनन्द बर्धन द्वारा शासन में विभिन्न पदों पर रहते हुए उद्योग और राज्य के विकास के लिए जो कार्य किए हैं, वे अत्यन्त सराहनीय हैं। केजीसीसीआई अध्यक्ष, श्री अशोक बंसल द्वारा अवगत कराया गया कि जब श्री आनन्द बर्धन जी उत्तराखण्ड प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष थे, उस समय उनके द्वारा कुमायूँ गढ़वाल चैम्बर ऑफ कॉमर्स एण्ड इण्डस्ट्री के अध्यक्ष को बोर्ड में नामित किया गया था।
यह निर्णय न केवल उद्योग जगत के लिए महत्वपूर्ण था, बल्कि इससे केजीसीसीआई की भूमिका को भी नई पहचान मिली।

बैठक में उपस्थित सदस्यों द्वारा एकमत से विश्वास व्यक्त किया गया कि श्री आनन्द बर्धन जी के मुख्य सचिव पद ग्रहण करने पर उनके नेतृत्व, अनुभव और दूरदर्शिता से राज्य और उद्योग क्षेत्र नई ऊंचाईयों को हासिल करेंगे। श्री अशोक बंसल द्वारा नव नियुक्त मुख्य सचिव को उनके द्वारा शासन स्तर पर बनायी जाने वाली हर नई नीति और पहल में पूर्ण सहयोग और समर्थन देने का आश्वासन दिया गया तथा श्री आनन्द बर्धन जी को पुनः मुख्य सचिव पद की नई जिम्मेदारी के लिए शुभकामनाएँ दी गयीं एवं सफल कार्यकाल हेतु
मंगलकामना की गयी।

उद्योगों के समक्ष आ रही समस्याओं पर चर्चा

बैठक में उद्योगों के समक्ष आ रही विभिन्न समस्याओं जैसे- आबकारी विभाग से उद्योगों में प्रयुक्त होने वाले मैथनाॅल के परिवहन पर उत्पन्न की जा रही अनावश्यक परेशानी, कुछ उद्योगों द्वारा सीडा से नक्शा पास कराने के उपरान्त कराए गए निर्माण कार्यों पर जिला विकास प्राधिकरण द्वारा अड़चन पैदा करने हेतु उन्हें निर्माण कार्य रोकने हेतु नोटिस भेजे जा रहे हैं जो कि नियम के विरुद्ध है क्योंकि उद्योगों के नक्शा पास करने के लिए ही सरकार द्वारा राज्य में सीडा का गठन किया गया है। इस प्रकार दो सरकारी विभागों में परस्पर सामंजस्य न होने का खामियाजा उद्योगों को भुगतना पड़ रहा है तथा उद्योगों का निर्माण कार्य अवरुद्ध हो गया है। जिला विकास प्राधिकरण की मनमानी से उद्योगों का निर्माण कार्य निर्माण कार्य पूरा न होने पर उनका प्रोडक्शन भी तय समय सीमा में चालू नहीं हो पाएगा जिससे ये उद्योग पाॅलिसी के तहत मिलने वाले लाभों से वंचित रह सकते हैं। इस पर बैठक में उपस्थित समस्त उद्यमियों द्वारा आक्रोश व्यक्त किया गया तथा शासन से माँग की गयी कि जिला विकास प्राधिकरण को सीडा द्वारा पास किए गए उद्योगों के नक्शों में हस्तक्षेप करने का अधिकार नहीं है अतः उसके द्वारा की जा रही अवैधानिक कार्यवाही को तत्काल प्रभाव से रोका जाना चाहिए।
केजीसीसीआई के पूर्व अध्यक्ष, श्री विकास जिंदल द्वारा अवगत कराया गया कि मेगा इण्डस्टिंयल एण्ड इन्वेस्टमेंट पाॅलिसी, 2021 की अवधि 31 मार्च, 2025 को खत्म हो चुकी है। इसके अन्तर्गत कुछ उद्योगों द्वारा अपना विस्तारीकरण किया गया है तथा कुछ नए उद्योग भी स्थापित हुए हैं लेकिन उनके स्थापना के कार्य अभी पूर्ण नहीं हो पाए हैं अतः उक्त पाॅलिसी की अवधि 31 मार्च, 2026 तक बढ़ाए जाने हेतु शासन से शासनादेश जारी
कराने की माँग की गयी।

सदस्यता प्रमाण-पत्र वितरण :

महासचिव, श्री आर. के. गुप्ता द्वारा माह मार्च, 2025 में केजीसीसीआई द्वारा सम्पन्न कराए गए क्रियाकलापों के बारे में विस्तार से अवगत कराया गया। बैठक में दो नए सदस्यों एल्युस फार्मास्यूटिकल्स प्रा. लिमिटेड और  यूनिवर्सल बिल्डिंग एंड कंस्ट्रक्शन   को चैम्बर की सदस्यता के प्रमाण-पत्र भी वितरित किए गए।

BEE’s workshop on Energy Efficiency for Paper and Packaging Industries Successfully Conducted on 21st March 2025 at Rudrapur

Rudrapur, 21st March, 2025

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, successfully conducted a workshop on “Scaling-up Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Measures Implementation” for the Paper and Packaging Industry at Hotel Rudra Continental, Rudrapur. This event was organized in collaboration with NITCON Limited and the Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI), aiming to promote energy conservation and efficiency in the Kashipur Paper Cluster.

The workshop focused on identifying and implementing energy conservation measures (ECM) to enhance industrial productivity, improve competitiveness, and reduce overall carbon emissions. Kashipur Paper Cluster is among the five selected clusters under this initiative, along with Muzaffarnagar, Vapi, Morbi, and Coimbatore/Erode.

The event officially commenced with a Welcome Address by Mr. Ashok Bansal, President, KGCCI, who emphasized the critical role of energy efficiency in the paper and packaging industries. He highlighted how energy-saving measures not only reduce production costs but also contribute to environmental sustainability.

During the workshop Mr. Kripa Shankar from BEE presented various energy efficiency initiatives for industries specially MSMEs followed by deliberation on Assistance in Deploying Energy Efficient Technologies in Industries & Establishments (ADEETIE), the recently launched interest subvention scheme of BEE wherein. As informed the scheme will be fully functional by June 2025.

Mr. Sandeep Kumar Saini, Project Officer, UREDA talked about how various renewable energy initiatives are helping booth residential and industrial consumers in adopting clean and green sources of electricity. The discussion further included the max solar PV installation capacity for industrial consumers in of net metering.

Mr. Mukesh Tyagi, Paper Sector Expert from Naini Papers Ltd. talked on various dimension of energy efficiency in paper industries. His address included both importance of technical advancement and training of workers to use latest technologies. He briefly talked about steam generation and consumption, motive loads and automation to decrease human interventions.

Mr. Vishal Singh, Product Manager, from Forbes Marshell mainly focused on Steam generation, distribution and recovery of condensate/ flash recovery through various technologies available with them. He further emphasised on the importance of monitoring which is without which will not only help in efficient utilisation of equipment but will also help in preventive maintenance.He further shared number of case studies covering various technologies of forbesmarshell and benefits accrued by the respective industries.

Mr. Yohan, Technical Director – Turbine Division of Industrial Boilers limited focused on Pressure Reducing Turbines (PRT) in place of pressure reducing valves and how it can help reduce energy cost for paper industries. Further, he deliberated on use of Reduced Derived Fuels in boilers, the challenges therein and how they can be addressed using various technologies available.

Mr. Anant Rai, Manager SIDBI presented the various schemes available with them to support implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy measures in different domains including industries.

The interactive session allowed industry professionals to engage with experts, clarify doubts, and gain a deeper understanding of energy efficiency measures tailored for the sector. The event concluded with a commitment from all stakeholders to adopt best practices in energy conservation and explore collaborative opportunities to make the industry more sustainable.

An Awareness Camp/Outreach Program was organzed by the Income Tax Department

On 11 March 2025, an awareness camp/outreach program was organized by the Income Tax Department at Uttarakhand Forestry Training Academy Auditorium, Rampur Road, Haldwani.

In the said program, departmental officers explained in detail about the topics like e-Verification Scheme-2021, filing of updated income return ITR (U) under section 139(8.), mandatory registration of reporting entities (REs) required to submit financial transaction statements (SFTs), compliance gaps in reporting of specified financial transactions (SFTs) under section 285BA of the Income Tax Act, 1961, understanding the technical challenges faced by REs in filing periodic SFTs, immediate resolution of such technical challenges through consultation process for better tax administration, etc.

The seminar was addressed by Shri R K Gupta, Director of Income Tax (I&CI), Kanpur, Shri Piyush Kothari, Additional Director (I&CI), Kanpur, Shri Vipin Bhatt, Income Tax Officer (I&CI), Dehradun.

President, Shri Ashok Bansal, Shri R K Middha and Shri Sanjay Kumar Adalkhah were present on behalf of KGCCI on this occasion.

Invitation for a Family Dinner Meet in Honor of Shri Deepak Bali, Newly Elected Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Kashipur

Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a dinner and meeting in honor of the newly elected Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Kashipur, Shri Deepak Bali ji at Chamber House, Kashipur on 06 February, 2025. The meeting was conducted by Shri Nitin Agarwal, former General Secretary of KGCCI. First Lady of Kashipur, Smt. Urvashi Dutt Bali was also present on this occasion.
In the meeting, KGCCI President, Shri Ashok Bansal congratulated Shri Deepak Bali on being elected as the Mayor of Kashipur and said that Deepak Bali ji is a young, energetic and gentle person. A new thinking, enthusiasm and will to bring change is clearly visible in his working style. His way of working differently from others gives him a uniqueness. His cheerful nature and sociable personality will definitely give a new direction to the society and business world. His experience and leadership will prove to be a milestone in the development of Kashipur Municipal Corporation.

He demanded from Shri Deepak Bali that just as the areas included in the new delimitation have been exempted from house tax, similarly this facility should also be provided to the industries because the Municipal Corporation has no role or cooperation in the development of these industrial establishments.

Director, SIDCUL, Shri Banke Bihari Goenka said in his address that Shri Deepak Bali ji is always ready to solve the problems of the people. He said that your support and guidance is important for us. We want to assure you that you keep working for the development of the city. We all will walk shoulder to shoulder with you.

While conducting the program, former General Secretary of the Chamber, Shri Nitin Agarwal said that the all-round development of Kashipur can happen well only under the leadership of Shri Deepak Bali ji. Thinking this, the people of Kashipur have made Shri Deepak Bali ji victorious with a huge number of votes. Shri Deepak Bali ji is a hardworking person. Whatever he decides to do for the development of the region and industries and to remove the problems of the people, he definitely completes it. This is his working style.

Chamber’s treasurer, Mr. Ashish Gupta said that the Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi ji said that this is the time to take Uttarakhand to the top. Keeping that in mind, the Honorable Chief Minister, Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami ji is working. He is working hard day and night for the progress of Uttarakhand. Mr. Deepak Bali ji is a dear friend of the Honorable Chief Minister, Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami ji. Therefore, Mr. Deepak Bali ji can play an important role in the development of Kashipur. He said that if there is a strong will power for the development of Kashipur, then the lack of budget from the government will not come in the way. The people of the area are with you in development works.

Chamber’s former president, Mr. Vikas Jindal said that we are already well acquainted with the working style of Mr. Deepak Bali ji. He informed that in December 2023, the KGCCI members of Kashipur, through you, demanded from the Honorable Chief Minister to implement the new master plan of Kashipur, implement industrial circle rate, implement EWS shelter fund for builders and impose upgradation fee on the circle rate of the current land use on the application for change of land use. Out of the said four demands, the government order for 3 demands was issued by you in 15 days only, only the Kashipur master plan has not been implemented yet.

He urged that the master plan should be implemented in Kashipur soon. He also demanded abolition of house tax on hotels and industries falling in the Kashipur Municipal Corporation limits, reconstruction of roads, beautification of main roads, drainage plan of Kashipur, and early completion of the construction work of the flyover under construction on Ramnagar Road. Shri R S Yadav of India Glycols Ltd. said that Shri Deepak Bali works in a dynamic way. He has a different style of working. He demanded that whatever problems the people of Kashipur are facing, they should be resolved and continuous efforts should be made for the development of Kashipur.

Finally, in his address, Shri Deepak Bali said that the beautification of the main roads of Kashipur, the construction work of the flyover under construction on Ramnagar Road will be started very fast as soon as possible and their work will be completed before the stipulated time limit. Mega MSME Outreach Program at Hotel Radisson Blu, Rudrapur 

Today on 04th February, 2025, Union Bank of India, Regional Office, Bhojpur organized a Mega MSME Outreach Program at Hotel Radisson Blu, Rudrapur. On this occasion, Shri Ajay Bhatt, Nominee-Udham Singh Nagar Parliamentary Constituency was the Chief Guest.

The bank officials informed about the active credit facilities being provided by Union Bank of India for the development of MSME associates.

On this occasion, Shri Ashok Baisakh, Chairman, KGC CI said that the MSME industry is a major player for the country’s economy and it is playing an important role in providing employment opportunities. Basically, banks should provide loans to these companies at the lowest interest rate.

He said that the MSME sector not only provides employment opportunities but also promotes innovation and entrepreneurship. This sector contributes significantly to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). It is the collective responsibility of all of us to promote MSME units, provide them financial support and overcome their current story.

He suggested that banks provide more convenient, simple and resume financial assistance to MSME firms. The loaning process should be made smooth and immediate, providing timely expansion to Jesus Christ of his museum. Apart from this, banks should bring institutional financial schemes to specific needs.

Public Hearing on UPCLs Tarrif  Proposal at Vikas Bhawan, Rudrapur 
In the seminar organized on GST, information was given about the amendments made in the Union Budget 2025 regarding tax.

Seminar was organized on 18 February 2025 at Hotel Rudra Continental, Rudrapur to give detailed information about the amendments made in the Union Budget 2025 and GST. On this occasion, Mrs. Smita, Joint Commissioner (Executive), Mr. Rajendra Chaudhary, Assistant Commissioner, CGST, Mr. Rohit Srivastava, Joint Commissioner (Audit), CGST, Kumaon Zone, Rudrapur, Mr. D. P. Yadav, Advocate, Mr. Dheeraj Soni, CGST Inspector, Mr. Prashant Yadav, GST Inspector etc. were present. The program was conducted by Mr. Prashant Yadav, GST Inspector. In the seminar, the President of Kumaon Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI), Mr. Ashok Kumar Bansal said that GST is an important part of our country which is very helpful in the smooth functioning of trade and industry. Some important amendments have been made in the tax in the recently presented Union Budget, about which this seminar has been organized by KGCCI to make the traders and entrepreneurs aware. He said that the tax collected from industries is playing an important role in the development of the country. Industries are the backbone of the country’s economy. The development of the country is possible only with the development of industries. But due to the wrong concept of tax applicable on industries, sometimes they have to face many difficulties. He demanded that in such a situation, the departmental officers should cooperate with them and immediately resolve the complaints and disputes of the industries.

Mr. Rajendra Chaudhary, Assistant Commissioner, CGST informed that the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi has a target to take the country’s economy to 5 trillion dollars. The Central Government, State Governments and all the Government departments are working with full dedication in this direction. We are hopeful that this target will be achieved within the time limit. He said that the GST department is always ready to resolve any tax related cases or disputes of industries and traders so that traders and industries do not have to face any problem. There is also a full effort to resolve the complaints. For this, traders and entrepreneurs should keep in touch with the department and keep talking.

CA Hemant Singhal said that traders and entrepreneurs should file their returns on time to avoid penalty. He also gave detailed information about the invoice management system.

CA Mohit Dev said that the GST Amnesty Scheme is a relief initiative by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, which aims to encourage taxpayers to voluntarily file overdue GST returns. Under this scheme, taxpayers will have to deposit only the outstanding tax while interest and penalty will be waived. He said that traders should take advantage of this scheme. He gave detailed information about it through slides.

In the seminar, Shri Rohit Shrivastava, Joint Commissioner (Audit), CGST, Kumaon Zone, Rudrapur, discussed in detail the GST problems related to trade and industries, their solutions, and the latest changes related to GST in the budget.

At  the end of the program, a Q&A session was organized, in which entrepreneurs asked their questions to the experts which were resolved on the spot by the experts and department officials.

Exporters were informed about new opportunities and government schemes in Export Conclave 2025

Entrepreneurs, exporters and government officials of Uttarakhand participated in the “Export Conclave 2025” organized at Hotel Rudra Continental, Rudrapur today. The program was organized by the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO), in which many eminent personalities associated with the industry of the state shared their views. On this occasion, Mr. Hemant Kumar, Assistant Director General Foreign Trade, Mr. Subhash Kandpal, Assistant Director, MSME, Haldwani, Mr. Nishant Bhaskar, Associate Director Credlix, Mr. Sunil Dutt etc. were present. The program was conducted by Mr. Nishant Katyayan.

The program started with the welcome address of Mr. Ashok Kumar Bansal, President, Kumaon Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI). He highlighted the growing export opportunities in Uttarakhand and the role of the DADM sector. He said, “Uttarakhand, especially Kumaon and Garhwal region, is becoming a hub of new possibilities for exporters. In the closing session, Mr. Srikar Sinha, President of APCBNS Entrepreneurs Welfare Society expressed his gratitude. This conclave proved to be an important platform for the industrialists and exporters of Uttarakhand, which gave them a deep understanding of new opportunities and government schemes.
