Rudrapur, July 19, 2025 — A grand event titled Uttarakhand Nivesh Utsav was organized today at the Sports Stadium, Rudrapur, marking the grounding of ₹1 lakh crore worth of capital investment in the state. The event witnessed the presence of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah as the Chief Guest.
The celebration was graced by the eminent presence of Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, and President of Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Shri Pawan Agrawal, among other distinguished guests.
On this occasion, all dignitaries, including Chief Guest Shri Amit Shah, addressed the gathering and shared their perspectives on industrial growth in the region.
Shri Pawan Agrawal, President of the Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized the state’s challenging geographical terrain and, through Shri Amit Shah, earnestly requested the Central Government to introduce a special industrial policy tailored to Uttarakhand’s unique conditions. His demand was widely applauded by all present industrialists and stakeholders, who also extended their appreciation and congratulations to Shri Agrawal for voicing their concerns effectively.
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted the continuous and collaborative efforts of both the State and Central Governments toward promoting industrial development in Uttarakhand.
Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah assured all-round support from the Central Government to bolster industrial growth in the state and committed to ensuring all necessary assistance to make Uttarakhand an emerging industrial hub.
